ABOUT
Written by Cory Trout in April 2022, the poem begins by talking about various distresses and then ends by focusing on the Lord, who can heal all things.
POEM
These days don’t feel right; Uncertainty is in sight; I want to take flight. I’m sleeping less every night.
As the hours pass by, Many things come to mind. As the minutes go by, I ponder these drab times.
Heaven is above; the grave, below; I now find myself somewhere In-between those places, alone? What strangeness is going to happen next?
O LORD, thou hast created all things, And for thy pleasure they were created. Therefore, let it be well with thee To seal up my sins, to comfort me.
