POEM

I lifted up my eyes toward the sky, I uttered words unto God most high, I cried unto him like the ancients used to, Before many people, I prayed for you, ******.

The congregation heard my voice, my cries, But my utterances were unto the most High. To reach into eternity was my goal, To touch with words he who is extolled.
