The question of whether God has forsaken the land of Israel and rejected the Jews as his chosen people has been debated for a long time. The following five Scriptures prove that God has neither forsaken the holy land nor replaced his people with another.
Zechariah chapter 14 prophesies that the Lord will establish his kingdom in Israel at his second coming and rule the world therefrom. During his reign the Jews will have rest from their enemies, and all nations will be compelled to go to Jerusalem annually to worship the King. This is one of the clearest proofs that God has neither rejected nor replaced the Jews and their land, as the Lord will reign from Jerusalem, protect Israel and her people, and punish those Gentile nations that will not come to the holy land to worship him.
Revelation chapter 20 says that shortly after the Lord has reigned on earth for a thousand years, Satan will gather wicked nations together to attack Jerusalem once more, and God will destroy them. Thus, the Lord will protect Israel and her people for a thousand years, all the way to the end. How could these things be true if God has forsaken and replaced them?
Revelation chapter 21 tells us that a city called new Jerusalem will descend from heaven onto the new earth, which the Lord will create, and this city bears the names of the 12 tribes of Israel and 12 apostles. Hence, God’s love for Israel will continue into the world to come.
In Jeremiah chapter 31, the LORD says that If the ordinances of the sun, moon, and stars depart from before him, then the seed of Israel shall cease from being a nation before him for ever. Since these ordinances will never depart from the LORD, it is not possible that Israel should ever stop being God’s nation.
Jeremiah chapter 31, “Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.” The fact that these things cannot be done demonstrates that God will never cast off all the seed of Israel, meaning they will remain his people for ever.
While more Scriptures could be given to prove that God has neither replaced nor forsaken the Jews or their land, the provided evidence is strong enough to stand on its own.
